It is possible to build a PC with Ryzen 5 5600X and RX 6900 XT with the value of an RTX 4080

The price curve for video cards has risen exponentially over the last three years, especially on NVIDIA's side and even more so now with the new generation RTX 40. The second "cheapest" Ada Lovelace GPU, the RTX 4080, is costing from $1200 and the amount is enough to mount a good AMD PC with Ryzen 5 5600X and Radeon RX 6900 XT in the US.

A video with a tone of joke (recommend watching, is funny), published by youtuber Sebastian Castellanos, shows that he managed to spend $ 1,198 on a PC with Ryzen 5 5600X, MSI B550-A Pro, 32 GB DDR4-3600 from G.Skill, Asus TUF RX 6800 XT, SSD M.2 1 TB from TeamGroup, EVGA 600BQ source and Phanteks Eclipse P300A cabinet.

Leaving aside the tease of the video comparing an entire functional PC against a video card, both costing the same thing, it's interesting to see what you can buy with the value of an RTX 4080.

The website Videocardz went even further, assembling a PC with a Radeon RX 6900 XT, with more powerful source and air cooler in tower, leaving the budget cheaper than the one presented by youtuber (US$ 1,174.65). Remember that peripherals and monitor are not in the list.

Taking into account that an RTX 4080 has cost more than 30% above the price suggested by NVIDIA, it would still be possible to include peripherals to this computer with AMD CPU and GPU buying in American shops.
