While we have no more information coming from AMD and Intel about the new generation of CPUs, CPU-Z brings more confirmation about the existence of the AMD Ryzen 7000 and Intel Core 13th generation processors. The software, through a new update, has gained support for the AMD Ryzen 7000 "Raphael" and Intel Core "Raptor Lake" processors, the next generations of CPUs from the two companies.
The 2.0.1 update brings, among other new features and improvements, support for 7th generation AMD Ryzen CPUs, as well as AMD Ryzen 6000 Rembrandt mobile APUs. On the Intel side, "preliminary support" for 13th generation Intel Core and Intel Arc 3/5/7 have also been added.
According to information from CPU-Z, the seventh generation AMD Ryzen Raphael will also feature RDNA 2 graphics cores, as unofficial information has pointed out so far. The Ryzen 7000's cores will be based on Zen 4 and will have DDR5 and PCIe Gen 5 support. The 13th generation Intel Core Raptor Lake, on the other hand, will bring the same architecture present in the current Alder Lake CPUs. Both generations are expected later this year.
